Happy Springtime, and happy 3rd official Anniversary to Holistic Caring! Since inception (in 2016) we have been working hard to make a difference. Our nurse navigators have helped hundreds of clients manage the complicated path of using cannabis as medicine. DIY care is fine for recreational customers, but to our patients the dispensary experience is like learning a foreign language. We strive to provide the safest, most efficient path of cannabis healthcare options for clients. So when the weather improves and birds are singing, people naturally want to get active and connected again. Spring training camps for the MLB have even removed marijuana from the banned substance lists because they recognize it is a safer option than opioids. We all need help to feel our best and to function optimally.

Did you know that 75% of healthcare spending now goes to chronic conditions? 30 million Americans have diabetes, and 84 million more have pre-diabetes. 50 million of us sleep poorly which exacerbates chronic disease. Americans need help to improve nutrition, get out of pain enough to start moving again, and to get restorative sleep. Behavior change is hard, but cannabinoids are catalysts to better metabolic health. The right programs at the right time can drive meaningful results.

It’s not just about diet and exercise. Mental health struggles touch 1 in 4, and chronic stress affects 1 in 2. CBD improves the stress response, and consistent dosing allows the mind to rest enough to heal physical conditions. We only get one body, and if it’s our responsibility to make the most out of it, we need to maximize our care of it. Physical and mental health boosts productivity, lowers spending, and improves quality of life. Health coaching and cannabinoids go together and it’s never too late or early to start. We’re now preparing others to join us.

On 5/1 Holistic Caring will launch licensing programs to educate, equip, and empower Cannabis Health Coaches (CHC’s). HC CHC’s will be given the tools and support to provide better care to their own customers. Our multi-pronged approach will change the narrative with 8 hour courses for professionals, and 2 hour educational courses for the public. Consulting services will be offered to provider groups, dispensaries, and businesses. “Clinical corners’ will be established at partner dispensaries. And we’ll continue to provide 1:1 guidance to local and remote clients. Our experience provides the leadership to maximize benefits, limit harms, reduce costs, and improve health through cannabinoids and functional medicine.

Please tell a chiropractor, acupuncturist, or other holistic therapist about the future licensing programs to give them the confidence to tailor CBD into basic health and wellness programs.
33 legal states and more coming with 2020 elections means that millions now have this option. Lack of medical personnel in dispensaries exposes a gap. Innovating programs to meet the goals and objectives of patients, providers, and producers is our contribution to the solution.
Enjoy the kickoff to Spring! Stay tuned for the official launch coming soon!

Many blessings to you this day and always, Elisabeth Mack
