Hi! I’m April. My interest in cannabis medicine started when my father was diagnosed with stage IV prostate cancer. Last year we had hospice and that solidified my decision to pursue this path. They just kept pushing Morphine. It has been a year without him. This has been the most painful process. I have been a RN since 2007. I worked a year in telemetry , then 7 years in pediatric rheumatology, I am a telephonic nurse supporting various medications. The past 2 years I have supported a medication for alcohol and opioid dependence. I am now transitioning into a supervisor role for a MS medication.
