Through direct patient care, healthcare professional training, curriculum development, and clinical mentorship, we have empowered both patients and providers to make informed decisions about cannabinoid therapeutics and plant medicine. As cannabis use continues to expand across healthcare, wellness, and consumer markets, healthcare professionals are being asked questions they were never taught to answer. Holistic Caring & The Green Nurse® were founded to bridge that gap.

Since 2016, Elisabeth Mack, MBA, BSN, RN, and Sherri Mack, BSN, RN, have been pioneering cannabis nursing education, curriculum development, patient advocacy, and clinical mentorship. Together, they have helped shape the emerging field of cannabis nursing while preparing healthcare professionals to confidently integrate cannabinoid therapeutics into patient care.

Beginning in 2018, Holistic Caring & The Green Nurse became an approved continuing education provider and developed formal educational programs focused on cannabinoid therapeutics. This landmark publication was pivotal in establishing foundational standards for the practice of cannabis nursing.
