Sherri Tutkus BSN- RN is a leading force in the burgeoning cannabis industry as a nurse, patient, advocate and activist. Sherri is the Founder of The Green Nurse and Chief Nursing officer at Holistic Caring- a global community of health professionals who provide vetted products and services to support the utilization of plant medicine and other progressive therapies to nourish the endocannabinoid system. Holistic Caring acquired The Green Nurse in 2021 and their strategic visions have merged into the most comprehensive programs available to transform how we access, understand and utilize medicinal cannabis to optimize health.
Utilizing her 30+ years of extensive and expert nursing skills from the traditional system as a medical center specialist, clinical nurse liaison, and educator, she bridges the gap between patients, the conventional medical system and the cannabis community by mentoring and educating other nurses and health professionals on the ECS and the safe utilization of cannabis at dispensaries, hospitals, clinics, patients’ homes, as she
simultaneously presents at cannabis events, seminars and expos the world over.
She is one of the founding members of the International Association of Psychedelic Nurses, is a Ketamine Nurse Guide at KetaMd and has facilitated other plant entheogen journeys, as well as authored a chapter in the first cannabis nursing textbook, Carey S. Clark’s Handbook for Nurses.
Sherri earned her bachelor’s in science and Nursing from Boston College. She is a member of the American Cannabis Nurses Association, founding member of the Cannabis Nurses Network, and on the editorial advisory board for Cannabis RX Magazine Organizations
