Sherri Mack, BSN, RN, is a nationally recognized cannabis nurse, educator, patient advocate, and thought leader dedicated to advancing whole-person care through plant medicine. She is the Co-founder and Chief Nursing Officer of Holistic Caring & The Green Nurse and serves as Vice President of Nursing at Bloom Hemp CBD.
With nearly four decades of nursing experience, Sherri bridges the gap between conventional healthcare and integrative plant medicine. Her clinical background spans pediatrics, oncology, home care, patient advocacy, education, and care coordination. For more than a decade, she has specialized in cannabinoid therapeutics, mentoring healthcare professionals and educating patients on the endocannabinoid system (ECS), evidence-informed cannabis therapeutics, and individualized care planning. Her educational outreach includes healthcare organizations, universities, dispensaries, conferences, and international educational programs.
Throughout her career, Sherri has helped thousands of patients and caregivers safely integrate cannabinoid therapies into their wellness plans while empowering healthcare professionals with the knowledge and confidence to incorporate cannabis into clinical practice. She is passionate about transforming healthcare through education, compassion, and evidence-informed practice.
Sherri earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Boston College. She is a founding member of both the Cannabis Nurses Network and the International Association of Psychedelic Nurses and previously served on the Board of Directors for the American Cannabis Nurses Association. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Health & Wellness Committee for the Coachella Valley Cannabis Alliance.
An accomplished author and curriculum developer, Sherri has contributed chapters to Clark’s Cannabis: A Handbook for Nurses and Comprehensive Approaches to Cannabis Nursing, including The Cannabis Nurse: A New Paradigm for Patient and Community Care and From Spirit to Symptom: A Caring Science Model for Cannabis Nursing. She also writes for Ask The Green Nurse on Substack and is a contributor to The Cannigma.
Sherri is the host of the award-winning Green Nurse Podcast, where she shares inspiring healing stories, explores the science of cannabis and other plant medicines, and helps reduce the stigma surrounding their therapeutic use. Through education, advocacy, and compassionate care, she continues to inspire patients, healthcare professionals, and communities around the world to embrace a more holistic approach to health and healing.
