About CBDᴀ

CBDA was isolated in 1965 by Israeli scientist Raphael Mechoulam and it is the natural precursor to the cannabinoid CBD (cannabidiol). When the acidic form is decarboxylated, CBDA transforms to CBD, the active ingredient in many products.
New research is showing that activating the cannabinoid acid is not completely necessary to reap its medicinal benefits. CBDA interacts with the endocannabinoid system and encocannabinoidome acting as a Cox-2 inhibitor providing a very strong anti-inflammatory response.
