Additionally, federal prohibitions and variances in state laws make navigating legal issues all the more complex.

A one-hour interactive legal consultation provides you with general legal information and affords you the opportunity to ask questions. If needed, additional time can be purchased in 30 minute increments. This consultation is designed to give you a jump start and save you time and money by identifying what specialty areas of law you need assistance in based on your personal circumstances and plans. If possible, referrals to attorneys in your state who can assist you with your legal needs will be provided. Maureen’s passion is to assist healthcare providers in providing plant based therapeutics to their patients. Much of her career has been in health law (representing numerous health regulatory boards as a Colorado assistant attorney general for 15+ years). In 2016, Maureen delved into cannabis by becoming the first Industrial Hemp Program Manager in the country. Since then, Maureen has gained vast experience in the emerging cannabis and psilocybin industries. With an in-depth understanding of regulatory law coupled with business law experience, Maureen easily pivots between regulatory issues (i.e. assisting licensees facing discipline from regulatory boards) to assisting new business owners with corporate and employment matters. Maureen also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Denver. She teaches an array of courses in the University College Healthcare Administration Master’s Program.

She is also a registered dental hygienist which gave rise to her desire to always put patients first.
